Thoughts : Week 5 ~ Week 11
Hello my dear bloggie readers! Althought I know I don't have any readers😅
It's week 11 now~ Time flies so fast and I will graduate my degree next year hehe! I have been busying with those assignments and my FYP since week 5, so I really don't have free time to update my bloggie haha sorry xD I will update each complete assignment from subjects such as Advance Animation, Design Research, and of course my fyp. For the advance animation, I had modelling my little Toddler Fipper which I sacrified most of the time among the assignments because I need to model it by using 3Ds max, animate it, and render it for 30 seconds Fipper Slipper advertisement (Group animation). Let me show you the model that I done! :3
For the final stage, we are required to add motion graphic and combine our own character to create a full 30 seconds of 3D Fipper Slipper advertisement! I am so excited for the final outcome and I hope my groupmates can also create quality works together so we can get high marks for this subject ~
For the next subject, Design Research, Ms.Clare had announced the marks for reflective writing assignment and I got an A- ! HAHA Finally I got A- for this subject which taught by Ms.Clare because she is very strict and honest in giving marks and I always got B or B+ for her subject...😟 Lucky I got A- I am so happy now HAHAHA and hopefully I will also can get an A for second individual assignment, which is design criticism. For the group assignment, our group had produced 131 pages of report which is my very first time compiling over 100 pages of word document! 😱
I was shocked when Ms.Clare said that my part needs a lot of information and requirements and I thought I can complete the part all by myself but I was WRONG, I was stressed because of my part which are product packaging analysation and product placement analysation... I also needed to state the similarities and differences of every cereal packaging omg I was really stressed at the time but lucky my 2 groupmates helped me a lot I am really appreciate for their assistances. I thought that our printing for 131 pages costs RM100 above but my dear groupmate found the best cheap price for printing which is just RM55, so each member just paid RM11, Cheap! 👍👍 Right now, I need to concerntrate more on the second individual assignment, which is design criticism of Dr.Strange movie poster, and also my fyp journal, which I need to update progression of doing my fyp. Hopefully I can complete them on time because I really hate to complete last-minute work! CORDY U NEED TO BE STRONG!! 💪
And the last subject! FYP!!
As you guys know that I choose web design as my specification area, and I had also decided to help my daddy's company to create an official website. I had completed my Stage 1 in week 6, and completed the powerpoint slides in week 7, and the submission and presentation for Stage 1 was in week 8. So my classmates were like.. "Wow Cordy you done so fast ah? Printed ady ah? I havent start to do my powerpoint slides leh!" because I really hate last-minute work tho I really want to complete it as soon as possible! 😂 I volunteered as the first presenter during Stage 1 presentation because I wanted to end it quickly so I won't be so nervous HAHA There are compliments and suggestions from Mr.Fairuz during my presentation and hopefully I can get a nice result for this stage because I aim A for my fyp! xD Actually I am quite nervous about the final outcome for the website because there are 2 students from web design which are enlisted in dean list and president list..omg I hope my web design skill can reach their level omg I am scared right now 😂 I know you guys will be like "Cordy you just do your own work properly and don't care about others because you work for yourself not for them!" but actually I am a competitive person and who doesn't want to be the best? hehe 😝
For Stage 2 of my fyp, I am required to design website mock-up, and also decide the visual elements and features which will be included in the website design. I hope that I won't regret and feel stressed out on what I have designed right now as I am worried about the next stage, which is website development.. you know.. HTML5 CSS3 JQuery coding.. yea the most difficult part 😖

I hope the following 3 weeks can be really smooth and I can complete those assignments and fyp on time! and also, COUNTDOWN 25 DAYS UNTIL MY SEMESTER BREAK! 😆

The video above is under Stage 2, which we are required to animate our own character and show the emotion of our character. For Stage 3, we are required to finalize the movement of character and environment lighting. As the background for my character is outdoor playground, I had set a skylight and apply light tracer, therefore the render duration will be longer than what I expected (20 mins/ frame) but the outcome is NICE! Just like the quality of Mickey Mouse Club House! 😍
